Meet the Team

Gail Currey

Gail served as a college counselor at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, CA for five years before starting her own college counseling practice. She has counseled thousands of students about the college search and selection process and college admissions generally. Gail has also visited a wide array of college campuses both in the United States and abroad. Her goal is to help students discover those colleges where they will thrive. She also instructs students how to write effective college admission essays and individualize their college applications. And she has been selected to present at professional conferences of college counselors.

Gail graduated from Bucknell University summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a double major in English and Political Science. She went on to graduate from the University of Virginia Law School and practice corporate law in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles. She received her College Counseling Certificate through UCLA.
